Isn't life just crazy? It's also beautiful. Right when you think you know what its all about, something happens to remind you that you have no idea! That was just a random thought, I don't have some amazing story to go with it. I just wanted to post because I'm very happy and have a lot of exciting things going on right now. Here's a list-
1. Seeing my friends tonight that I've had since elementary school and getting some SUSHIIIIII (it's been like a year and I'm having sushi withdrawls)
2. 2nd foot will be tattooed next Thursday
3. Graduation is May 3rd for my Associates Degree
4. Closing weekend at Brighton this weekend. It's always a party and I'm excited!
5. I'm super close to buying a ticket to Chicago to see one of my best friends, Katie, this fall
6. I made $50 babysitting a 4 month old baby last night and I got to do homework for half that time while he was sleeping
7. I won tickets to preview 5 Year Engagement next week, it looks funny and I'm excited!
Here's a photo for the day...
Us in Barbados on the beach. Wish we were there right now!! We will be there again one day...

Who am I?
Meeting families for babysitting jobs and prospective full time employers lately has got me thinking, who am I? What do I want to highlight about myself and what characteristics do I have that I'm most proud of? Well let me tell you...
I am a life loving, friendly young woman who loves trying new things. There are so many things on my bucket list-scuba dive, paraglide, travel to every continent, half marathon, full marathon, volunteer as an aid over seas, row around in a boat in Venice, visit Easter Island, Niagara Falls, buy a canoe, the list goes on and on. I also love what I love. I have a hard time trying anything but the pork burrito at Cafe Rio. I have a positive attitude and outlook on life and its something I am very thankful for. I love to create things and watch projects develop from conception to completion. I love my job of almost four years and the people I work with, but I'm also eager for something new. When I was little my favorite games were house and office. I guess it's no wonder that I am looking forward to being a mom and pursuing a degree in Accounting.
I am most passionate about hiking, running, traveling, cooking, music, and my friends & family. When I'm in the mountains or on the beach, in the quiet peace, is when I feel my spiritual side come alive. It grounds me and reminds me where I come from and what is most important in life.
I'm a giver. I give so much of myself to those I love and I do so happily. I always want my friends and family to know how loved they are and I try to show it as often as I can. I am proud of who I am and what I have to offer. I am so happy with where my life is right now and I feel some exciting things coming in the near future. I'm so happy that my path crossed with Dave's. I definitely believe we have the personalities and maturity that will make for a life long, happy relationship. I love nothing more than experiencing every life adventure with him, he's the very best of the best.
I'm a planner. I have something on the calendar just about every day. Between working full time, school, Dave, cooking, vacationing, babysitting, and spending time with friends and family I stay very busy. I love it this way. I am definitely a go-getter but I also love days when I can just hang out and work on my crafts or go see a movie by myself.
I think that describes me pretty well. Thanks to anyone who was interested enough to read this through! =) Leave a comment and tell me what you love most about yourself! Let's celebrate who we are!
Randomness
I have been following this blog for about 6 months now. It is full of great tips and inspiration about how to stay debt free and not be a spending freak like most people in this country! I entered the giveaway to win an awesome print that would remind me to keep up my hard work. I hope I win, wish me luck!

New Year, New Opportunities
A lot on my mind today! I would like to make note on my blog about a few new years resolutions that I have so that I can look back on them often and evaluate how I did when 2013 rolls around. These are my goals for 2012...
Pay off my car. I have 14 months of payments left and I would like to spread the 13th and 14th month payments into the 12 payments I make from now until the end of the year and have it completely paid off by December 31st, 2012. It will feel so great to have a paid off car, even though my car isn't an eye catcher. It is the first car I bought and paid for all on my own and I am excited to be car payment-less while I finish college.
Organize our closet. Pictures to come!!! Our closet is definitely the most embarrassing part of our house right now. It will be going out of my comfort zone to post pics of it but come on, we're college students and super busy. We don't have time for random little things like this, but I will make time this year! It will be neat to see before and after pics and share them with everyone. My plan is to throw a LOT of things away =) Dave isn't as excited by this idea as I am. Evil face... >] My general rule of thumb is that if I haven't used something in over a year, to toss it. It's just wasting space!!! I want to also put three laundry baskets either in our closet or our bathroom and have one be for Dave's clothes that haven't been put away yet, one for my clean clothes that haven't been put away yet and the third one for our dirty clothes. We have a bad habit of not putting our clean clothes away after they are cleaned and dried.
Clean out the storage room. Dave and I decided this would be our goal as a couple. We think there are many things in there that can be thrown out but there might also be some things we don't use that we can sell on ksl. It would be so nice to have a cleaner space to put things when we need to (and be able to find things when we need them!!!).
Get away, just the two of us, for no reason. St. George? Idaho? Mesquite? Dave doesn't know about this resolution yet but I would like for the two of us to go away for a weekend, with no real itinerary. We do travel for fun and for his competitions but I would like a whole weekend with him to myself and no list of things we need to do. Being lazy, sitting by the pool, going to some less-traveled bar and getting drunk and slow dancing. Whatever, I just know it is great for our relationship when we get to do things like this and leave all our cares behind.
I want to keep it simple, because these are things that I REALLY want done, but I also don't want to put too much on my list and not be able to finish all of it. I hope everyone else has made goals for 2012 and that they are able to stick to them. It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it!! =)
